Typing Coach ("the app") is an independently developed typing-practice application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. No Account Required

Typing Coach does not require or provide user accounts.

The app does not ask you to provide your:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Account credentials

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Typing Coach stores certain information locally on your device to provide typing-practice features.

This may include:

  • Typing test results, including speed, accuracy, error counts, duration, and date/time

  • Individual mistakes from typing tests, including the expected character and the character typed at that position

  • Per-character accuracy used to identify weak keys

  • Daily practice time

  • Daily practice goal

  • Practice streak information

  • App settings, such as preferred language, preferred exam, and target typing speed

The full text entered during a typing test is not stored as a complete text record.

This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

If you uninstall the app or clear its app data through Android settings, locally stored app data will be deleted, subject to the standard behavior of the Android operating system.

3. Information Collected or Shared

Version 1.0.0 of Typing Coach does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or usage data.

This version of the app:

  • Does not use analytics SDKs

  • Does not use advertising SDKs

  • Does not use crash-reporting SDKs

  • Does not provide cloud synchronization

  • Does not require an account

  • Does not make network requests for typing-test data

Your typing-test data remains on your device.

4. Permissions

Typing Coach does not request access to:

  • Location

  • Contacts

  • Camera

  • Microphone

  • SMS

  • Phone calls

  • Photos or media

  • External storage

The app only uses the device capabilities necessary to provide its typing-practice functionality.

5. Children's Privacy

Typing Coach does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Because version 1.0.0 does not collect or transmit personal information, the app does not create user accounts or maintain a remote profile of its users.

6. Future Changes

If a future version introduces features such as analytics, crash reporting, advertising, cloud synchronization, accounts, or in-app purchases that involve the collection or sharing of information, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those features are introduced.

Any new data practices will be described in the updated Privacy Policy.
